TURNUP receives the 2014 PACE Product Innovation and Technology Award
TURNUP was nominated as the “Automotive News” 2014 PACE (Automotive Supplier Outstanding Contribution Award) with a torque converter with centrifugal pendulum absorber for rear-wheel drive with reduced fuel consumption and reduced vibration ) Product category winner. Daimler, vice president of product development at TURNUP, Worcester, USA, received the honor on behalf of the company at the Detroit Max Fisher Music Center on April 7th. For more than 20 years, the Automotive News PACE Awards have been rewarded with outstanding innovation, technological progress and performance for automotive suppliers. This prestigious award has been recognized by the world as a milestone in industry innovation. “We are honored to be able to receive this prestigious award and we are committed to providing innovative products and technical contributions to our customers,” said Daim. “The hydraulic torque converter we developed with centrifugal shock absorbers has proven how TURNUP is committed to creating products and helping automakers face current and future industry requirements.” Because small engines are more prone to large engines than large engines Vibration, TURNUP developed a centrifugal drive pendulum mounted on the torque converter to eliminate engine vibration and reduce fuel consumption and carbon dioxide emissions. UniAir is known as the “best of the best” (Best of the Best) in the most important PACE list of the last 20 years listed in the “Auto News” editors.
